More and more stags are staying booze-free and opting for experiences that leave them with lasting memories.

The number of dry stag do’s has surged at Ultimate Recreation, in fact we’ve seen a 24 per cent leap in alcohol-free stags over the last 12 months.

Our millennials and Gen Z customers are certainly binning the booze to ensure they retain precious memories and polished snaps for their instagram feeds instead. They don’t like the proposition of spending the weekend worse-for-wear either.

When we first opened Bunker 51 in London, paintball was just a stop on a full day of activities. Normally, stag groups would play and then head off for a full night of drinking.

We are now seeing that paintball becomes a full day activity or even a late-night experience. With fitness and wellness more in the mainstream, stags are seeking out dry activities where time spent with friends has become something more valuable.

With five different activities across our brands to choose from, we can make planning your stag event as easy as possible. What's more, we have a dedicated in-house events team to ensure your day goes off without a hitch.

Not everyone is familiar with airsoft but we can guarantee that it is an exhilarating experience. Airsoft uses realistic, replica weaponry with BB ammunition. Whether you’re a newbie to the game or an enthusiast, we have a variety of packages and skirmishes at Bunker 51 to get your airsoft fix.

Our Trapped Escape Rooms are based in the former Olympic Village and are dedicated to providing truly immersive experiences. From our live actors to fully-formed storylines in each room, these escape rooms are unlike any other on offer in London. We currently have three experiences:

- Trapped in a Prison Van

- Trapped in a Room with a Zombie

- Trapped Undercover

The trapped escape rooms are located in Stratford, in the former Olympic Village. With great transport links from Central London and a selection of London's best restaurants and bars nearby, it's a great place for a day or evening out.

Ultimate Recreation has been the premium provider of laser tag in London since 2011 at our first dedicated arena in London's Trocadero. Since then, we've created various arenas across the city.

You can enjoy laser tag at ‘Bunker 51’ and ‘Star Command: The Outpost’. Bunker 51 is a military bunker near North Greenwich with a focus on tactical and unique gameplay. Our latest arena, ‘Star Command: The Outpost’ is a pop-up in the former Olympic Village. This state of the art arena uses the latest technology in a maze-style mini-arena.

Paintball has been a popular stag party activity for years and it’s no surprise, everyone enjoys their time playing and it really unearths the competitive amongst the group. We have a variety of packages available at Bunker 51, including dedicated packages for stag/hen parties that include food and drink. Not only is Bunker 51 the only indoor paintball playing field in London, we're also the most centrally located arena, only a ten minute bus ride from North Greenwich Underground.

Apocalypse Events has provided zombie experiences to London for the better part of a decade. We have two adrenaline filled experiences at Bunker 51 on offer. Zombie Laser Tag and our immersive Zombie S.W.A.T Training.

Choose to play laser tag with a twist, playing against each other, as well as against a horde of zombies in a series of fun games and activities.

Alternatively, Zombie S.W.A.T Training is a 2.5 hour immersive experience with a storyline and lots of zombie shoot 'em action. Recruits step into the role of a community awareness and protection officer, training to take on the undead threat growing in the U.K.
